At Covered Construction Inc., we believe your home or commercial property deserves more than just a contractor—it deserves a team that takes pride in the work they do and stands behind every project.

Founded in Michigan, Covered Construction Inc. brings more than 20 years of experience in roofing, siding, gutters, windows, and exterior maintenance to homeowners and property owners throughout Metro Detroit and surrounding communities.

Our company’s roots go back to 2008, when Covered Construction began as Covered Construction LLC. In 2024, Chris Guy and Jay Hawks joined forces to create Covered Construction Inc., combining years of hands-on experience and a shared commitment to doing exterior construction the right way.

One of the things that sets Covered Construction Inc. apart is our commitment to using our own in-house crews.

We do not turn your project over to a subcontractor and hope the job gets done correctly. Our crews are part of our team, and we expect them to take the same pride in your project that we do.

Keeping our installations in-house allows us to maintain better communication, quality control, scheduling, and accountability throughout the entire project.

Our Owners Are Involved

When you hire Covered Construction Inc., you're not simply hiring a salesperson and a crew you've never met.

One of our owners will be on-site during every installation.

We believe that personal involvement matters. Our owners and team members are available throughout the project to help make sure the work is being completed according to our standards.

Before the project begins, your salesperson will stay in communication with you. After the installation is complete, we don't simply pack up and leave.

Our Final Walk-Through

We believe the final inspection is one of the most important parts of the project.

Once your roof or siding project is completed, we perform a final quality-control inspection of the work. We then conduct a final walk-through with you, the homeowner.

In many cases, that final walk-through is performed with one of our owners.

We'll go over the completed work, answer your questions, and make sure you understand what was completed before the project is considered finished.
